Pagani C9 to replace Zonda by end of 2010

Pagani, the Italian supercar manufacturer, will replace the current Zonda with the all new Pagani C9 at the end of 2010. The new c9 will be powered by a 690bhp, 737 lb ft version of the AMG 6.0 liter v12 engine. Horacio Pagani, the founder, told the press that the C9 is completely new when it comes to the design, weight distribution, materials and dynamics – over 3770 parts are new to be exact. The chassis will be made out of carbon-titanium, while the electronics will be supplied by Bosch as well as specially developed tires made by Pirelli (which explains the price tag). 40 of these beauties will be made each year and will carry a price tag of 900,000 Euros or $1,273,770.
