Aston Martin Rapide, Power & Beauty combined.

am3 Aston Martin Rapide, Power & Beauty combined.
The Aston Martin Rapide is the most talked about car in 2010. The concept was introduced long back in 2006 the car was one of the most awaited cars in 2009 and was finally introduced in February 2010.

The Aston Martin is often compared with the leaders in the market like Porsche, Porsche Panamera.

As all the other AMs this one is also loaded with power and full of beauty. The car seems just perfect. No doubt the car looks beautiful but that’s not the only thing when you sit behind the steering wheel you can actually feel the car; you can actually feel the soul of the car.

A hand built 6.0 liter of V12 engine is responsible for the power which delivers 470 bhp. The six speed touchtronic automatic which allows the driver to change the gears automatically or manually via the paddles mounted behind the steering.

Something which is different about this car is the 4-doors, yes surprisingly it is a 4-door sports car.

Its perfect combination of ‘Power’ and ‘Beauty’ all together.

Lotus fans, listen up. A joint venture is in the making between Lotus and Cosworth to develop ultra-high performance engines to power both production and race cars in the future.

As you all know, Cosworth is known in motorsports as a winning engine supplier. They will be working on existing Toyota powertrains to create high-end engines for racing applications, the first of which is a V6 engine for the new Lotus Evora Cup race car.

Group Lotus CEO Dany Bahar has all the confidence in Cosworth saying “our new strategic relationship is based purely on Cosworth’s competencies, brand and race engine development capabilities. This new strategic partnership will align two of the most renowned names in the automotive world and will be of huge benefit for both organisations.”
Meanwhile, Cosworth Group’s CEO & Managing Director Tim Routsis expects “to see further triumphs not only on the racetrack but also in the competitive high performance sportscar market, where Lotus is already acknowledged as a world leader.”

Sounds like a lot in store for all you Lotus fans out there. So stay tuned!
