VIDEO: Building The 2011 Bentley Mulsanne
Not sure about you guys, but I love watching production and assembly videos – no matter what is being built, it is always fascinating to see it. This video is of course a lot more special, it’s the assembly video of the 2011 Bentley Mulsanne, that is being assembled in the Crewe, U.K. factory. You’ll be able to see how modern technology and traditional coach-building techniques are being used. Hand-hammering techniques are already gone, now modern technology is used to form the front fender on the Mulsanne, which makes you think, how long before the entire coach-building industry vanishes and is replaced by modern techniques.

Design students come up with some futuristic Bentley supercars

Who wouldn’t want to design car, or even better, a supercar. Well Bentley gave eighteen hopefuls the chance to do just that. They of course are not just your average college students, but very talented graduate students at the Royal College of Art in London. They spent the last few months working with designer Raul Pires, with the four top candidates going to the next round and designing some concepts that you can see in the gallery. The best designer will receive a job at the Bentley design studio.
