2012 Face lifted Mercedes C 63 AMG

2012 c63 amg 3 2012 Face lifted Mercedes C 63 AMG

By far the most affordable Mercedes got a face lift recently making it visibly more appealing and tempting you to finally get a Mercedes in your Garage.

The car definitely is a visual treat but the engine specifications are some what the same as the older model. A 6.2 liter V8 which develops 457 hp, or 487 ho with the help of AMG performance package, though the car is faster than before all because of the 7 speed MCT Transmission.

The car does 0 to 100 kmph in 4.4 seconds and the top speed remains 250 kmph.
Mercedes has also worked on the chassis and the suspension setup earlier the car used to be a complete animal with no protocol but now with the stabilizers on and thicker anti roll bars the car behaves like a gentleman.

The car will be known for its looks because of the new front apron, with a new grille and a more muscular bonnet. The bumper too is changed and looks more on the par with that of the new CLS63 featuring new LED daytime running lights.

And the best thing is the car is the cheapest in the Mercedes stable.

Brabus Vanish: a mean, muscular Mercedes SL65 AMG

ms2 554x346 Brabus Vanish: a mean, muscular Mercedes SL65 AMG

The car in the pictures looks like a Batman’s Mercedes but it isn’t the mean machine was once developed for a wealthy Arab by the German car tuner Brabus known as the Brabus Vanish.

But now the German tuner has revealed the details of the Kit known as Brabus T65-RS which makes the SL65 AMG the Brabus Vanish.

Engineers at Brabus or I should say the maniacs at Brabus have given the car a twin turbo charged V12 engine which includes two special exhaust manifolds with integrated turbine housings and high-performance turbochargers, a custom made stainless steel high performance exhaust. A weird looking scoop on the hood helps in hiding the new intercoolers.

And that stuff helps increasing the power of the black beast to an unimaginable figure of 800 hp and a surprising torque of 1,420 Nm.

Its also good to know this beast is eco friendly and follows the EURO 4 norms completely.

The Brabus Vanish really vanishes in seconds a speed of 100 kmph is attained in mere 3.6 seconds and 320 kmph in 9.8 seconds.

When the exteriors and the performance is simply Awesome the interiors can not be left behind. The interiors are completely tailor made and the owner is the one who decides how it should like.

Check the pictures.

Mercedes CLS ‘Shooting Break’ debuts at Beijing Motor Show 2010

Mercedes Benz CLS Shooting Break Concept Car Beijing Auto Show013 554x352 Mercedes CLS ‘Shooting Break’ debuts at Beijing Motor Show 2010

The new Mercedes Benz CLS will make its entrée at the Beijing Motor Show this year.
The car is based on the concept named Shooting Break! (Break not Brake). This will be one of the most eye catching concepts out of the Mercedes lot.

The car is one of its kinds and does not inherit much from its ancestors. Shooting Break is a concept and the car when out in the market will be the next generation Mercedes Benz CLS.

The car does have a full length centre console which is popular amongst the most recent high end cars. Powered by a V6 engine, 3.5 liter producing 306 bhp. The ones who are not satisfied with these figures there is always an AMG version, this one would be a 5.5 litre V8 turbocharged engine producing 560 bhp.

Talking about the exteriors completely stylish and sporty one needs to check this car closely because it looks like a coupe but actually its not it has four doors, the car will not fall in the segment of corporate cars as the first impression of the car is something like a holiday car, the one you would take along on get away. However it will make people in your office go crazy about it too.

As a whole it’s a completely futuristic and a modern design.

Features that demand attention are the full LED headlamps, only LED technology is used to provide the entire headlight and taillight functions the head light is divided into three
layers out of which the third one is an indicator.

If the exteriors are the cream of the crop the interiors should be of the same class, the interiors are completely hand crafted, the flooring is wooden and upholstery is complete leather.

People who are wondering why it is called a ‘shooting break’. Break or the homonym brake stands for carriage used in the 1960s and shooting break is a vehicle used when out for hunting or shooting animals.

Though the awesome looking vehicle looks like a ‘Shooting Star’ instead of a ‘Shooting Break’.
