Jerrari – part Ferrari, and part Jeep
Bill Harrah owned over 1,500 cars, but none of them came even close to the Jerrari, part Ferrari 365 GT and part Jeep. Enzo turned down his request for a 4×4 Ferrari, so Bill went ahead and made his own. He accumulated his wealth by owning casinos, and that way was able to fund his massive collection and wild ideas. Hopefully some of his present day equals, owners of US poker sites, will come up with similar mad and expensive projects. Later in its life, the Jerrari’s original, 4.4-liter Ferrari V12 was swapped for a plebeian small-block V8, but in its day, it was fully functional — even in four-wheel low.

New Lamborghini Gallardo released, the LP570-4 Blancpain Edition
The New Blancpain Edition of the Lambo is out in the market. For those who are wondering what is Blancpain. It’s known for its wrist watches and these are top of the class, posh watches and the expensive ones.
Blancpain is also one of the key sponsors of Lamborghini in most of its races like the Super Trofeo race series.
And most of you will not be surprised to know this car will also be loaded with carbon fiber components to make it lighter and quick, which will include a huge rear spoiler.
Other things which are known to be a part of this special edition which makes it different from the Superleggera are new engine cover (for ventilation), diffuser, new mirror casings, carbon-ceramic brake discs and calipers, and ‘Skorpius’ wheels.
And the Blancpain logo will be prominent in the cabin, while the interiors are stitched with yellow and the upholstery is black leather.
Lamborghini claims with all the carbon fiber on board the car is much lighter, 0-62mph in just 3.4 seconds and a top speed of over 200mph.
And the weight is 1340 kg only, some hatchbacks in the market are heavier than LP570-4 Blancpain!
Thanks Blancpain!

Lamborghini, Made in China!
When almost everything is Made in China, Lamborghini is not far behind it is rumored the production of the Lamborghini Estoque is imported to China, no doubt the hidden motive would be to reduce the production cost.
Lamborghini the Italian manufacturer will move the production of Estoque to China by 2012 and majority of the units will be sold in China itself.
It will be priced around 4 million yuan ($589,000). And which places the car in the category of Aston Martin Rapide and Porsche Panamera.
Loaded with 5.2-liter V10 engine delivering around 560 hp and it’s also been said the engine will be the present engine of Audi Q7 which is also capable of delivering 500+ hp.

Lamborghini and some Carbon Fiber

Using carbon fiber seems to be a trend amongst the high-end car manufacturers these days, Lamborghini also adopts the same method to shed out some unnecessary weight from the car which definitely improves the performance, efficiency and reduces the emission levels as well.
Carbon fiber once only used in airplanes is now commonly used in the high end cars as we mentioned recently about Audi using carbon fiber for the roof of its M series and now Lamborghini follows.
Lamborghini has established the Advanced Composite Structures Laboratory (ACSL) at the University of Washington, Seattle. Lamborghini plans to make optimum use of carbon fiber in each car possible.
But still Carbon Fiber is not every car manufacturer’s cup of tea; material helps a lot in reducing weight and making the car more efficient but costs a huge amount so one can not expect the same material to be used in our daily use passenger cars for the next few years.
The entire carbon fiber structure of the car weighs only 668 pounds.

Revised Lamborghini Gallardo, the LP570-4 Superleggera

The picture above is a reminder of how great the Gallardo is.
Yes the machine is called the Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera.
If I describe it in words it’s too fast, loud, full of power, aggression and it beats the Ferrari 458 Italia. It is 18 kgs lighter than the standard LP and gains 0-124 mph in almost 10 seconds which is quicker than the 458.
It’s better than the standard LP but its not a new thing at all, a few more horses under the hood a bit lighter than the standard. It can be called a Lamborghini Gallardo LP+. It seems as if it’s the same car but in a better mood today.
The transmission is the same, the glass is thinner, boot lid and seat shells are all carbon, the back seats are fixed and these features also help it losing some weight.
And for all this you definitely pay extra that’s approximately £175,000.
