Just last week we published a spy shot of the all new Pagani C9, which is set to replace the Zonda next year. As luck will have it, an Autoblog reader came across the C9 in South Africa and took some very good spy shots. As you know, the C9 will use an AMG engine, which will have a 700 bhp 6.0-liter V12 engine that generates up to 1000 Nm (738 lb-ft) of torque.

Just recently we reported on the upcoming Pagani Zonda replacement, the Pagani C9, and now, WorldCarFans readers are sending in spy shots of the car being tested in South Africa. Something tells me that we might actually see the car officially revealed this year. Either way, the new beast from Pagani has a 700 bhp 6.0-liter V12 engine that generates up to 1000 Nm (738 lb-ft) of torque. Price tag will be around 900,000 Euros.

The one-off Pagani Zonda Tricolore

While Pagani is working hard on its next supercar, the C9, they have also had time to create a one-off custom Pagani Zonda Tricolore. This beauty features blue carbon fiber, along with new LED lights and a fin installed on the engine cover. The interior is also blue of course, which for some reason makes me thing of the “I am blue” song from Eiffel 65.

Pagani C9 to replace Zonda by end of 2010

Pagani, the Italian supercar manufacturer, will replace the current Zonda with the all new Pagani C9 at the end of 2010. The new c9 will be powered by a 690bhp, 737 lb ft version of the AMG 6.0 liter v12 engine. Horacio Pagani, the founder, told the press that the C9 is completely new when it comes to the design, weight distribution, materials and dynamics – over 3770 parts are new to be exact. The chassis will be made out of carbon-titanium, while the electronics will be supplied by Bosch as well as specially developed tires made by Pirelli (which explains the price tag). 40 of these beauties will be made each year and will carry a price tag of 900,000 Euros or $1,273,770.
