Turkey’s first supercar – The Onuk Sazan

Turkey will soon be introducing a new supercar. Dr. Ekber Onuk has designed the Onuk Sazan in memory of his son who died in a car accident in 1996. The car is undergoing finishing touches in a secluded factory just outside of Istanbul and is expected to match the performance of some of Europe’s finest.

The Onuk Sazan is still in the prototype stage, but five units are planned, each including a Corvette sourced LS7 V-8 engine churning out 512 ponies. The engineers are hoping for a top speed of 186 mph, but the likelihood of the car reaching the States is slim to none.
