Brand new and barely disguised Porsche 911 Carrera (991)
Just received a tip from one of readers who was lucky enough to catch a glimpse (and record it) of the brand new and barely disguised Porsche 911 Carrera (991) at a gas station in Stuttgart, Germany. Given the next 911’s longer wheelbase, we expect a more supple ride without a corresponding sacrifice in dynamic competence. The power comes from a 400bhp version of the 3.8 liter flat six found in today’s 380bhp Carrera S.

The Next Generation Porsche 911

The Next Generation Porsche 911 also known as the 998 will make its official debut in 2011. The Porsche 998 is seen a couple of times but unfortunately obscured. But we can assure the new model somewhat looks like the picture shown.

VIDEO: Aston Martin Rapide vs Porsche Panamera drag race
While the Panamera is surely not the best looking car in the world, it sure is powerful. The guys over at Autocar did a small comparison test between the Aston Martin Rapide and the all new Porsche Panamera. We certainly don’t want to spoil the results for you, so go ahead and check out the video. There is one thing we do want to say though, his closing statement is a bit questionable.

2010 Geneva Motor Show: TechArt debuts a tuned Panamera – Concept One

If you know about TechArt, then you know how good they are. This year they had three debuts at the Geneva Motor Show, and one of them is the Concept One. As you’ll see in the gallery below, the was an enormous attention to detail with the tuned Panamera. The white leather, along with the lime green stitching gives it a very beautiful look.

Porsche presents the 918 Spyder Hybrid Supercar Concept
The 918 Spyder prototype combines high-tech racing features and electro-mobility to offer a fascinating range of qualities. The 918 Spyder has a 3.4-liter V8 petrol burner is combined with electric motors to put out 500bhp, while featuring the mind-altering acceleration to go from a standing start to 62mph in just 3.2 seconds. Topping out at 198mph and offering a very respectable 78mpg.
The 918 Spyder is one of three Porsche models with hybrid drive making their world debut at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. This trio – made up of Porsche’s new Cayenne S Hybrid SUV, 911 GT3 R Hybrid racing car, and the two-seater high-performance 918 Spyder mid-engined sports car with plug-in hybrid.
