VIDEO: 2010 Porsche Boxster Spyder Promo Video

During the 2009 LA Auto Show, everyone was talking about the 2010 Porsche Boxster Spyder. If you didn’t know why, then please allow me to explain if they promo video above didn’t already do that. Just like the video mentions, the entire car was designed specifically to reduce any unnecessary weight. Which actually meant removing the radio, air conditioning, and conventional door pulls (replaced by a strap), reducing the weight by 176 pounds.

Let us talk numbers; it spots 3.4 liter, direct injection flat six engine, with 320 bhp as well as the all new PDK gearbox from Porsche. It will go from 0 to 60 in just 4.6 seconds and will do 166 mph flat out. Additionally, the Spyder got a special sports suspension, lowering the ride height by 2cm, a standard limited-slip differential and of course – exclusive wheels.
